Screening for gestational diabetes during COVID-19

Some areas are adapting practices of screening for gestational diabetes in response to COVID-19. Screening practices may be temporarily amended in order to minimise the risk of acquiring COVID-19.

Decisions are being made based on local public health data (community risk of COVID-19 contagion determined as low or high) as well as the capacity of health and pathology services to offer social/physical distancing.
